Hi Zak, no update since our last update I am afraid. This is still planned but has not been scheduled for development. Given our focus this year is our next-gen payroll web and mobile app advanced features & STP phase 2 the team cannot provide a development schedule date at this time. ** There is a bit more to this - since this idea was planned we have embarked on a next-gen product - users of Reckon One time sheets and Payroll will see this in the second half of the year, as well as our new Invoicing app in April. Unfortunately other items have been delayed as a result. Whilst we know you'll love the look and feel of the next-gen products (and bills will be included next year), we understand this won't satisfy those who really need this feature, and for that we apologise. That said, we definitely didn't have the resources to build recurring bills in Reckon One and our new range, so we had to make a hard choice to delay until bills has the new look and feel.
I see similar comments and agree, regarding the need to have recurring transactions for bills. I was quite shocked after adding this feature to find it was only available for incomings, not outgoings! Every other accounting system I have used has this, it's so basic, so why doesn't Reckon One? I might have chosen another system if I'd known this wasn't available. If you already have the feature for incomings, I imagine it shouldn't be too difficult to add it for outgoings. I look forward to seeing this, thank you.
Hi everyone. There is no update on when this will be started as there are quite a few higher priorities of user ideas, as well as our dev teams main focus which is currently our new invoice mobile app, payroll features and STP phase 2. These 3 items alone will unfortunately take the team into early next year.
+1. With so many subscription-based purchases these days, a simple recurring bill solution that put recurring bills in your drafts ready for approval would be a time saver. Cheers
Really need this feature - all other platforms (MYOB, Xero, Freshbooks etc) have this function for regular billing, why doesnt Reckon? We have two businesses and will have to move away from Reckon because of the manual monthly accounts work. It is an important feature, and I get reminded of it every month when I have to manually create a bill for the Reckon payment. That isn't going to last long...
Hi JK. We had this planned for Q4 however its likley to push to Q1 next year as we have brought forward our invoicing app work. Planned status means it's made it to our roadmap, which is generally 2 years in advance. Apologies for the confusion.
Sorry Christine we are a global company so always talk calendar year due to various financial years across the globe. Apologies for confusion. eg June is in Q2.

Any updates on when this will be implemented?

how is the progress on this going? really need to reduce manual input each month, and recurring bills would solve most of this for us!

We have no definite timeline for the release of this feature unfortunately. As noted above our new invoice app has taken priority.
We are now in February 2021. When will this take place please?
