Import timesheet data for payroll

All employee time worked is calculated in a spreadsheet based off the roster for the week. I then have to enter all the hours for each employee into Reckon One Payroll. If I could simply upload the hours then review in Reckon this would save a lot of data entry every week.

    Hi Chris. Unfortunately this idea has been misinterpreted by other users and ourselves as the ability to import timesheet data into payroll (as stated in the idea summary) rather than import timesheet data from spreadsheets. I have created a new idea to capture that request specifically. You can vote at https://ideas.reckon.com/ideas/CORE-I-841

    So where exactly in the articles does it say you can upload an excel to reckonOne Payroll?

    Hi, I see that the status of this has been changed to implemented. Are you able to provide instructions on how it works? I'm unable to see how to import the timesheet data to a pay run.

    Hi Linda. v1 will be web app time entry only as we are building a new mobile suite of products starting with the STP app (May 2019 release). We will definitely be re-releasing a Time app though. Probably early(ish) next year. Yes the web app accepts customer / project / service item / Is Billable. We have also included Payroll Items' as part of this project. The web timesheets have also had an overhaul and i think everyone will be impressed with the new changes in terms of the 'workflow'.

    Excellent news - will the employees be able to complete timesheets using an app?  and will customer/job/project data be able to be added?

    It would be good if the payrun would automatically collect the time sheets for the payrun period, so that the payrun items for a casual employee could be automatically added to the pay sheet.
