Need to have option to bill by Project with reference fields at Project level included in the invoice header

We typically bill our client organisations spearately for different Projects and need to be able to specify PO numbers, Contract numbers etc in the Header, taken from Fields in the Project set-up, including the Project Description (!). Manually inserting information month-on-month is repetitive, error-prone and inefficient.
