Announcement: September 2023

We are currently well underway building our next-gen user interfaces, starting with Payroll web and mobile (released), Invoices mobile (released) and soon, advanced Payroll, Reckon Mate enhancements, and Time web.

Where appropriate we'll add features from the Product Ideas Portal to both old and new interfaces, or, where new is replacing old, we'll add to the new range only.

Thank you for your patience - whilst we understand building new interfaces and products takes longer than adding a feature, we are certain the new designs will ultimately provide a better experience for all our customers.

Shortcut to change Text Case

Have the ability to change text case of selected text in any data field ...similar to the word shortcut of SHIFT+F3

More characters for ref no and no in chqs and bills

Would be great to have more characters in the No on the Chqs or Ref No on the Bills. A lot of invoices have long reference numbers and they dont fit.

Increase display size on data entry screen

The display size on the data entry screens (e.g. bills) are very small. Altering font size in Windows 11 does not increase the size of the fonts on these screens. They are hard to see after looking at the screen all day.

Ability to use credits from a customer job to pay invoices on a different job for the same customer

Often a customer will overpay one job and want the credit applied to a different job. Currently it is very tedious to move/split this credit so it can be moved to the other job. It would be great if all credits were available to apply for all jobs...

Raise credit request

The ability to raise, email and track a credit request against a bill when a supplier has overcharged us. Places less reliance on one administrator being able to follow suppliers up manually.

Employee Specialised License Expiry

A section/option to add a defined field to add a specialised license to an employee file with an expiry date to prompt reminder of obtaining new license from Employee. The similiar field like "Workcover" in suppliers.

Increase character limit for SalesTaxCodeRef in the SDK for Reckon Accounts Hosted

Currently, the SDK has a character limit of 3 for SalesTaxCodeRef field where as in the app, it is 5 character limit. Can this be increased to 5, so APIs work consistently?
