I think it would be a good idea to enable multiple Pay Periods in a single pay-run to pay employees for Annual Leave.
In Payroll Premier you could always adjust the number of pay periods so the employee was not taxed based on one weeks' earnings. If he was taking 3 weeks annual leave, then you could enter the number of pay periods as "3" to reduce the tax over 3 pay periods.
So I believe this would be a handy feature in Reckon Payroll and would save a lot of calculator and tax table work to get the correct tax payable over the required period.
Please Refer to screenshot attached which is an example of an employee taking 3 weeks annual leave plus 3 days public holiday. Tax is calculated on 3.60 weeks taken.
