Since this suggestion was first created in 2019, it would be good to know exactly when this is planned, since nothing has happened in four years, especially when other similar systems offer this.
The ability to define journal templates would be really welcome. Right now I "copy" previous journal entries as a workaround.
Ideally the templates should be easily accessible when importing bank transactions, so that it become possible to enter a new journal while importing bank transactions.
On top of monthly and yearly recurring(repeat) journal, please also add daily (custom number of days, max 90 days in one go and can be done in multiple "goes" to reach the desired number of days beyond 90 days) as well.
What would be great would be to have the ability to define journal templates that then could be used for recurring activities or when importing bank transactions... That would be awesome.
Why not implement duplicate Journal (same as duplicate Bill) which will save me time?

A most important feature for our clubs cash accounting system to ensure transactions are posted to the right accounts.

Can we also have recurring TRANSFERS.
I have clients who regularly transfer a fixed amount between accounts to fund activity
As a business owner I require recurring journals for end of month and end of financial year adjustments.
