Over time, you may need the ability to merge accounts - especially in the case where a duplicate account has been created which is likely for smaller organisations who have changes in their book keeper/accountant/treasurer.
Currently there is no way to do this and as such 'inactive' accounts are needed to be kept for reports but also show up in the list of accounts available for selection (budgets is a prime example)
The only way now to 'merge' accounts is to reverse payments/receipts, reallocate the line item to the new account code, then re-reconcile the payment/receipt.
Definitely need this feature. It would be an absolute time saver. It is brilliant in Reckon Accounts desktop and hosted.
