Bank Reconciliation Report

The new Bank Reconcilation report called Bank Statement, does not reconcile the bank statement balance to the balance in Reckon One, ie does not show unpresented cheques and unprocessed deposits.  Can you please bring back a real bank reconciliation?

    Just to clarify, the bank statement report is not a replacement for the bank reconciliation report. When we re-designed the bank rec, the old reconciliation report was no longer valid. Rather than hold up the release of the new bank reconciliation, we released a statement report (previously not available) as it was quite a simple report (simply a reflection of the transactions just reconciled compared to your statement).

    The NEW bank reconciliation report has been re-designed to:

    • Be more intuitive to a non-bookkeeper/accountant
    • Provide key indicators regarding variances for the bookkeeper/accountant

    The report has now been designed, reviewed, and signed off by the Reckon One product owner. We will make a start on building the report after we release recurring invoices later this month.
