Ability to write estimates on the reckon one app
Many businesses would benefit from the ability to write estimates /quotes on the reckon one app. Because I am usually on the road, I don't have a laptop with me. I need to be able to write estimates / quotes on the road. I would be able to achieve this if estimates/quotes were on the app.
Hi John, thanks for the feedback. I feel your pain as my family has 2 painters in its ranks. Be rest assured quotes (Estimates) will be in the top 3 features delivered in the new app.
I am on the road as I have a painting business. To be able to create a quote on the go an access my estimate history to view or resend from my phone is critical for my business to run more efficiently.
Hi Ashley. Hoping for late 2018 for phase 1 which will be invoicing only. We will then prioritise the modules based on user feedback. Some of the current app functions will likely be removed so that we can focus on functionality that users are asking for eg. Estimates/Quotes. That said, this project is a long-term one to replace the existing Reckon One mobile app so will take some time to reach parity (like for like with the existing). Another note.. we expect the current app to run in parallel with the new app, so it is quite possible we will add functionality first that doesn't currently exist in the Reckon One mobile app. Again. that would cover things like Estimates/Quotes. Nothing concrete decided except for invoicing at this stage though.

Update: we are designing our new app now, and estimates has been added as a requirement. We'll monitor feedback to determine it's priority order. Thanks for the feedback.
