Search Bar in Reckon One

Add a search bar to the top of Reckon One so that we quickly can find transactions that contain details of the search.

The result could be presented something like 'Receive Money' or 'Make Payment' screen, filtered to show only transactions which have the search criteria (or part thereof) in any of the fields.

This is a valuable tool that makes an accounting program a useful means of storing data.  It allows a user to quickly find, for example when they bought a "refrigerator", received $1,112.65 or paid Inv 234.

Currently, it is not obvious how to quickly locate entered data.

Consider having a single 'All Filters Reset' button.

Hi Glyn, each column in all lists has a filter. Go to the bill list and select the field you want to search on, like the amount or supplier or reference. This should help. That said, we do see a global search as a worthwhile feature and will introduce this year.

    Please add this feature.

I currently have several hundered "Bills" for example, and if I want to search for an old "Bill" transaction, I have to navigate through several pages of "Bills" and then use my browser search field to find something among the webpage's 100 transactions. It can take me 1 or 2 minutes to find an old transaction, or all of the transactions from a specific supplier. Whereas if you had a search function, then I could quickly find a transaction in seconds, and save several minutes.

I used to use MYOB Essentials, and they have a great search feature, that I used a lot. I would often search for specific dollar value, or transactions from a specific supplier or customer.

Also example, if I want to create a new "Bill" from an existing  supplier, I first search for an older "Bill" from the supplier, and "Create a Copy" of the old "Bill" to create the new "Bill". If I add several new "Bills" transactions per day, then doing this manual search method looking through multiple pages to find an old transaction, so that I can copy it when creating a new "Bill", then I'm probably wasting about 10 minutes per day, since there isn't any search feature.

Something done by other products. Very useful function. Lots of time saving.
