I want to be able to import my paypal transactions automatically into Reckon One
Update: Released 14/9/2021. Full release notes including other bank feed improvements are available on our help site https://help.reckon.com/article/p0vhq85goe
Update: 22/6/2020: PayPal have addressed the issue and we are now ready to release. This will coincide with a new bankfeed onboarding process which will be released in the next quarter.... Likely August 2020.
Update 3/4/2020: The issue is persisting where feed data is not consistent. PayPal are continuing to investigate.
We are in final testing for this feed and unfortunately have found an issue on the PayPal side. Their team are working on this now. Apologies for the delay - we hope to have this available before the end of the month.
Did this one die at the finish line? Seems like it has been almost 1 year since the last update.... ☠️
Thanks for the follow up. We've actually dropped the ball on this for Reckon One as we've had PayPal in our other products for a few months. PayPal is only available with our new onboarding at this time, and that was scheduled for Reckon One in July. However we decided to hold this back to launch with our new banking screens in 2021, and completely forgot that this decision effected PayPal feeds. We'll go away and see if we can fast-track the new onboarding / feed management into Reckon One which will immediately give access to PayPal. Many apologies, Jason.
It's now October. Any updates?
Please add free connection to PayPal transactions as an auto feed please. I see this has been on the issue list for a while. It would be very helpful not to have to import manually each time and then delete the foreign currency exchange transactions all the time.
Hi Dwayne. I have created a new idea for your comments as bank data feeds / imports are a seperate component in the Reckon One application. Please refer to this idea.
And import from a few common spreadsheet formats (eg XLS, ODS, CSV) as well as an XML file. Must be able to import chart of accounts, debtor/creditor history & transactions, stock items & values, journal transactions, documents.
Obviously its just as important to be able to export to the same file formats as this affects my willingness to join in the first place, as well as to create a template for the structure spreadsheets to be imported.
