Hi Gurjinder. Yes this is available on payments and bills. We haven't closed the idea as we want to add a couple of more areas such as employee expenses. Any further areas will then be judged on idea votes per area.

    Hello Jason,
When you mention that you'll be expanding the document capturing to "other areas", can you also please include "Supplier Adjustment Notes" for the document attachment feature?

When a supplier provides a refund, a document attachment would help to keep track of refunded sales taxes owed to the government. Several times, I have wanted to attach supplier receipts to "Supplier Adjustment Notes", but can't yet attach documents to the "Supplier Adjustment Notes".

    Regards,
    Glyn

Yes, we will definitely be expanding the areas to which you can attach a receipt.

Will this be expanded to enable documents to be uploaded for journal entries and payments received?

Payments received / invoices - there are instances where a recipient tax invoice is provided or stored credits as part of a kick back scheme - they provide the supporting documentation

Journals - it would be good in some instances to include the supporting documentation that supports the entry e.g a purchase of a car, stock take (COG balance).

HI, I have recently started using Reckon One. When I enter bills, the balance in my accounts payable does not reflect any bills i enter and has a zero balance, am i doing something wrong when entering bills.

    ACCOUNTS PAYABLE BALANCE

I am having this problem, I have just entered bills with a date of 30/6/18 but when I run the balance sheet as at 30/6/18, the bill amounts are not showing. They were not paid until after 30/6/18. I have both settings mentioned set at cash....

It is like the bills outstanding are not being linked to the accounts payable account - which means that the balance sheets being produced are wrong. HELP!!!!!

Can you get a list of transactions and show which ones have a document attached and which ones don't?

Hi Trish. Yes there are restrictions. The help document for this is HERE. Apologies. I should have included this earlier.

    Hi Jason,

Where do we get information about this implementation?

I believe that it may have been restricted as to what clients are able to access it - dependant on their modules. Is this correct?

    Thanks

If you could add the receipt via the mobile app, and taking a picture, that would be fantastic.

Just wondering if we will be able to upload a file from the "Bank Transactions" list screen - ie, we won't need to go into "allocate detailed payment" or "allocate detailed receipt" to upload a file will we???? If your able to add a document column to this screen, it would be awesome if you could also make either the reference or description column editable from the Bank Transactions List view also pretty please.

Hagen we have finished the user interface and are now working through the storage aspects to ensure the users receipts are secure (encrypted) and accessible by the correct users assigned to your book. After the NEW BANK REC this feature will be the next one released.

I am actually shocked this is not standard!

I have experience with nearly free platforms that include this - not an add on

Enable bills to be uploaded and attached to a transaction

Merged
Rather than having to keep copies of bills paid elsewhere they would all be contained with Reckon and if there was a question about the bill, it would be able to be reviewed within Reckon. Ensures that all tax invoices for ATO compliance are held....
