Announcement: September 2023

We are currently well underway building our next-gen user interfaces, starting with Payroll web and mobile (released), Invoices mobile (released) and soon, advanced Payroll, Reckon Mate enhancements, and Time web.

Where appropriate we'll add features from the Product Ideas Portal to both old and new interfaces, or, where new is replacing old, we'll add to the new range only.

Thank you for your patience - whilst we understand building new interfaces and products takes longer than adding a feature, we are certain the new designs will ultimately provide a better experience for all our customers.

Regards,
The Reckon Product Team

Change IRD login page

The Inland Revenue Department login page is no longer static so using a direct link to login generates an error on the website. Simply opening a window to the main IRD website home page should be what happens.

As of March 2022, all New Zealand Payroll Functionality is handled via a new Payroll integration. For further information, see below

We have checked desktop and hosted by exporting the payday file and both go to the login screen. We are also using this re-direct: http://redirect.reckon.com.au/Accounts_2020_NZ/LodgePayDay

or for the 2019 version: http://redirect.reckon.com.au/Accounts_2019_NZ/LodgePayDay

They are going to the correct login screens. Maybe see if you are getting the correct login using these links directly. If not the issue might be locally.

I have also checked with tech support and its not a known issue.

Please also let us know the following:

    • Are you using desktop or hosted?

    • What version?

    • Just confirming this is the payday file and not new/departed employees?

Hi Jason, it's just the page that automatically comes up after exporting

    the payday filing file.

Thanks for that. Apologies for the confusion - I was actually after the area in Reckon Accounts where you are selecting that link, or where you are sent to the IRD login. Cheers.

When I log in I get the following message. It's because the static login page no longer works. The login page is accessible off the home page of the IRD website and it generates a new URL each time. I assume there were some issues with bots or something which is why they switched from a static login URL.

Hi. Can you possibly send us a screenshot of the link you are using. We have tested a couple of links and they are going to the portal login as expected. Many thanks, Jason.
