Default Invoice Template

I've tried to find a solution to this dilemma but it's either not out there or simply doesn't work.

Try as I might, I cannot get the Invoice Template to default to my template of choice. The number of times that I've sent an inferior invoice to my customers because Reckon Accounts Hosted is in capable of recognising my invoice of preference, is frustrating to say the least.

I've also noticed that most of the suggestions listed here by everyone, seem to have a snowflakes chance in Hell of ever being implemented, so I'm not going to ask if this feature can be implemented into the software, instead, I'm going to ask why it can't be implemented.

Someone has already suggested a 'make this template the default' check box or button, and that has apparently been 'Under Consideration' for almost 2 years now. It just surely cannot be that hard, so why can't it happen?
