Hi Peter, yes that's exactly what I needed. The good news is you can do that right now in Reckon Accounts Hosted (as of the 2020 release). For desktop we have a beta release (full release wont be until next year as we hit some issues with Outlook so we missed the code cut-off for 2020) that will allow you to send emails as HTML, and also add HTML to your email templates. If you are interested and can't wait, please email customerservice@reckon.com attention Jason Hollis - HTML for emails in Reckon Accounts and we'll go from there.

** If you have a Reckon Accredited Partner on your books, they have access to this "beta" update already.

** Although we have tested, any use of beta applications requires beta terms and conditions to be accepted by the user.

    Hi Jason
    attached as requested
as mentioned earlier I have a current work-around
I copy and paste from an earlier email and the coloured text,
When the standard B/W text populates the email to the client, I have to highlight the entire text filed, then click on format text at the top tool bars, then select HTML as the default is Plain text otherwise it stays B/W
    Hope this helps
    Cheers
    Peter

Hi Peter. You can actually colour EVERYTHING on a template. However, it seems you would like the coloured text to be in the email body and not on the invoice itself. Is that correct? If so I have some good news for you (great news for users of Hosted, less great but still good news for desktop).

Hi Jason I realise, that Overdue invoices shows red - here are my steps - I open my clients invoice, I click on Email - a prepopulated text comes up which is plain text - I would like this text to be able to coloured bolded etc. at the moment what i do is copy and paste from a word document the coloured text - if I may I can send you a test sample - problem I have is that I have to change the format text on the top menu bar to "AaHTML" before I paste that text. cheers Peter

Hi Peter. You can add coloured text to invoices right now via the template options. Could you assist by given a bit more detail around which text you would like coloured. Thanks, Jason.
