Eliminate requirement for GMail Less Secure App Access

In order to successfully email payslips from Reckon Accounts (Premier Edition 2019) via my Google Apps (GMail) email account, I have to turn on "Less secure app access" in my Google Account settings (Security/Less secure app access).

This is NOT recommended because...

"Your account is vulnerable because you allow apps and devices that use less secure sign-in technology to access your account. To keep your account secure, Google will automatically turn this setting OFF if it’s not being used. Find out more".

Can you PLEASE upgrade Recon Accounts to use secure sign-in technology so that I am not forced to make my account vulnerable in this way.
