If printed, a Pending Build can be used by production staff as a job ticket since it has a unique number, identifies the inventory assembly to be made, the components required and the quantity of all items.
You can print pending bills by going to Reports > Inventory > Pending Builds and then modifying the report to use ALL Detail level. This will allow you to see the summary as well as the detail of what items are included in the builds.
When modifying you can also add helpful columns like item description.
If you don't wish to see all builds you can filter by date or build number (range).
Hi Luke. I have tested and it seems the NUMBER filter is only held at the header (assembly) level and not the line level, hence why the lines disappear. Sorry for the bum steer there.
The best solution I can think of is to filter the report by date (or some other metric to reduce the list size) and then export to Excel where you can further filter.
I also looked at other modifications that may make the report more readable, and thought totalling by Item Detail gave a good view of what products were needed regardless of the build number. Maybe helpful, maybe not?

Jason
Hi Luke. I'll check this out by weeks end for you. Regards, Jason.
Unfortunately I can't print an "All Details" report for a single Pending Build when I have several with the same date. The reports shows all of them in detail. When I filter by Number to just get one Pending Build, the details disappear and all I get is the single line entry for the Assembly Part. I can't use this report unless I only have one Pending Build per day! Am I missing something?
