The leave liability report uses the incorrect hourly rate for many of our employees. This is a widely used report by businesses and should show the correct balances
This is a known issue, and the resolution can be found in our knowledge browser HERE
On the rare occasion this does not address the issue, try deleting the employees pay item defaults, saving, rebuilding the data file, and re-enter the defaults (this should not be required).
No problem Terry - apologies for the confusion as this idea was listed under Reckon Accounts.
Thanks Jason I am in RECKON ONE and it did default to a different number . All good I fixed it now
Thanks Patricia. Each employee record is set up with their own rate in Reckon Accounts (we do not provide a default). If you have your time set to calculate using decimal places, we allow 5 maximum decimals so you would use 0.07692 (if you accrued 152 hrs per year for 1976 total hours worked incl all paid leave).
However if you track hours by TIME format (0:00) it rounds to 0:05 (5 minutes) which isn't as accurate. That is why we would recommend using the DECIMAL PLACE preference.
Hope that helps,
Jason
Hi jason
on fair work site it uses 0.0767123304484894 per hour under NES
