Australian Super
It would be appreciated if Reckon had another section for Australian superannuation guarantee requirements in the employee section. Our Super is 9.5% at the moment and is gradually going up however the Reckon system only accounts for Kiwi super which is no good to us. I do not want two different accounting systems and we have only within the last 12 months purchased this system not knowing it was only for New Zealand. Please fix this problem

Hi Again
I have just located the item. It is in the Help function, however it states New Australia not NZ. The problem is it sits just above the words New Zealand so you automatically see it as New Zealand because no one calls this country NEW Australia.
It is in the help function under : Entering super details for an employee.
Thanks again for your very fast prompt. I am unsure about how to use all the functions of this system and as a result I am getting confused with a few things. Sorry for wasting your time.

Hi,
We have two versions of Reckon Accounts, one for AU and one for NZ.
In the AU version the default percentage for super is set as 9.5%. The law (at this time) is that the Default rate will rise to 10% in July 2021 and gradually increase to 12% from July 2025. We will address these increases in the releases closer to those times.
The easiest way to tell which version you are using would be to go through Reports Menu > Tax.
If you are in the AU version you will see a 'Simplified BAS/IAS' entry, in NZ you would see a 'GST101' entry.
If you're in the NZ edition, you can give our Customer Service team a call and they should be able to assist.
If you're in the Australian version, let me know where you're seeing the references to NZ Super and we can remove them from future releases.

No. I only have employees in Australia but in some parts of our Reckon system reports it states that the Super in Reckon is only for NZ. I am a little confused.
