Attribute Allowances to Jobs

We pay allowances for things like meals and travel hours when employees work away.  We would like to be able to attribute these to a job but Reckon Accounts does not have a place to allocate them.  For example we can attribute ordinary hours to jobs but not meals.  As meals are by nature an allowance we record them in the allowances box.

    This functionality already exists.

    Note: Ensure your payroll settings are selected to track Earnings Items.

    Super and allowances will then be assigned to the appropriate Customer:Job

    If there are 2 (or more) jobs on the one paycheque, the earnings items will be apportioned at the same % as the jobs hours v total paycheque hours. In the example below, each job is 50% of the total paycheque hours.
