I've noticed that when reports are printed there is no time or date stamps on them. This occurs for other software programs so I'm sure it can be implemented here. I believe this is something that should be added automatically so that one knows what's the correct and current reports we're are looking at.

This was implemented in early 2018 (see below example of a P&L). If missing this could be a bug. Please check a P&L and advise.
It's also possible you have not enabled this in settings. go to Settings > Report settings > Enable the 'Print date/time stamp'
