In the disability industry, our workers work various shifts which will incur loadings eg. Weekends, Overtime etc under the award. It would be great for the employees to be able to select a relevant loading rate in the Pay Item drop down in the timesheet. Presently, users "employees" do not have this option and administrators cannot provide this access via the roles in settings. Only administrators have this option. If this was a function, that would solve a lot of issues especially in an industry where there is shift work and loading.
The ability to have employees select their own pay item already exists. However, they must have this selected in their role (see below). If you only want "some" employees to have this ability you will need to create a new role for those employees.
