Budget V Actual

New Reckon One User. Having just entered all my budget amounts into Reckon One (what a tedious task, so much easier in Reckon Hosted), I now discover there is no report that will print Actual V Budget. So a complete waste of time entering the budget into the system, if the system can't do anything with it. I will soon be a Reckon One ex-user: it is not ready for any thing. In the NZ version, I can't even produce ABA payment batches, so no productivity gains.

Hi Adam. I have raised your case with the support team however they do not have your email on record, so I assume you have another email attached to your record. Please contact customerservice@reckon.com and reference this ideas chat. Cheers, Jason.

Hi Jason, thanks for your response. I am trying to do a set of 6 month financials to 30 September, so a YTD of "today" isn't much use. Do you have a service that converts One data to Reckon Hosted? Cheers

Hi Adam. Not exactly what you are after, however if you use this configuration, you'll see the budget takes into account the YTD point in time. ie I have set a budget of $1,000 per month for fuel sales. The YTD takes the $1,000 for October, and adds $200 for being in wk1 of the next month. The ACTUAL would be your actual fuel sales up to today.

Awesome. You'll need to let your phone support team know, as they told me there was no such report. I am trying to do a YTD Actual vs YTD Budget with $ & % variances, but the report only offer mthly or quarterly (or annual) comparisons, not YTD. (Maybe that's why the support team said no: no to YTD?) Any solution for this? Cheers
